I bought one of these when we first adopted our puppy and I was going to sleep in the basement with him while I was crate training him and needed to take him out 2-3 times per night. It was quite comfortable and very convenient and I wound up sleeping on it for about 4 weeks straight twice within 6 months (we adopted 2 puppies within six months!)
Pros:
-- It was fast and easy to set up due to its integrated pump (about 5 minutes top to fully inflate)
-- I really liked the ability to set the firmness of the mattress -- at its firmest, it was more supportive than my real bed. I was impressed that it really held air and didn't need frequent re-inflation.
-- Taking it down is also quick with the big air-release clip.
-- Durable -- it withstood a lot of abuse from my kids who treated it like a trampoline and from my dogs (once fully grown) who felt like it was made for them.
-- Comfort -- we used this in our guest room and our guests were given the option to sleep on a futon or this mattress and they always chose this mattress and usually wound up buying one themselves after they tried it out here.
-- Height -- I'm too old to climb up off the floor and single-height mattresses tend to "bottom out" and not provide enough support.
-- Price -- you can't beat the price for a guest bed and guests don't seem to object.
Cons:
-- It is made of very heavy material and that does tend to make it cumbersome to move around -- you kind of have to roll it as a blob or drag it.
-- Slides easily and pillows fall off the end easily if you don't have to braced against a wall or another piece of furniture.
-- The channels can be felt even through a mattress pad. However, if you buy a foam topper, that solves that problem.
Because of the fact that my kids were very rough on it, it did develop a slow leak after about 5 years. I was never able to find where it was leaking from so I will be replacing it. But it has become a necessity in our house because we don't want to dedicate the space for a permanent bed and it is really nice to be able to take it to beach condos for extra bedding.

I travel for work and I use the aero bed, since it is easy to pack and move. I have used it everyday for 6 months and no problems. I put a thin foam pad on top for some insulation during the winter months. about every 2 weeks I need to fill it up with some air to make it firm again. Just a pain some times to keep the sheets from sliding off the bed. -- no problems
The bed was/is terrific. We use it for guests at our home, and for ourselves on the road. AeroBed service is ultimately terrific, when you finally get to talk to someone. Alas they believe in 'Your business is important to us...meanwhile here's a commercial..." 20 minutes later, all is almost forgiven. After a short while our mattress sprang a small leak. We tried all the recommended actions to repair the leak. When we couldn't fix it, after finally getting through to someone, they were terrific - exchanged the product, and did so quickly, and with no cost to us beyond very small postage. -- Terrific product-poor phone
Really easy to use, we moved to the US and required a mattress until our shipment arrived from the UK. 6 weeks sleeping on this was very comfortable and I would recommend this to anyone needing a bit more comfort than the thinner inflatable mettresses. -- Sleep well
