My wife and I had been shopping for a sheet set for our new California King. Boy are they expensive at Macy's and even Bed, Bath, and Beyond (even with her 20% off coupons). I then suggested we take a look at Amazon. The price was less than 1/2 and I was pleasantly surprised to find that these are some very nice sheets. Very good fit, and nice quality. Always having had either flannel or regular sheets, I didn't know exactly what to expect with these sheets. Based on the five star reviews, I was kind of half expecting to float away on a cloud of softness, but alas, they're just sheets. They are lovely sheets, however, with a nice heft. They have a good solid feel to them. I ordered Café color in King Size. They are a deep Gold, which wasn't exactly what I pictured, but pretty none the less. And the king size is ample to get them over the deep pockets. I would buy again.
